But the reviews are terrible. The 55g I have is 6” narrower though and I’d love the extra space

does any one have experience with these for salt use?

Looks great! Mine would be std glass one from petco tho
Yeah idk about those.

i don’t know if you can drill it. Have to check and see if the glass is tempered.

if you can’t drill it than an HOB filter or overflow is needed

I was able to drill mine on the back, not the bottom. Hard to beat $109 on sale, of course now I want a 24” wide tank after putting in my rock work, but am happy overall. If you drill, look long and hard at overflows. I bought the eshopps and had to modify it to make it quiet. I think there are better options out there.

Great tank for the price when its on sale. I ran one years ago as a softy reef tank & now one as a sump. Some can be drilled, some not, you would have to do a tempered glass check if you wanted to drill it. Either way they are nice for the price.
