to no aquariums. I've had 1 or more marine tanks going since the late 1980's. I've pretty much had them all. Predator, flowlr, anemones, softies, LPS, SPS, frag tank, usually 2 or 3 tanks at a time. I'm not getting any younger, and I find as time goes on I have less time to spend messing with them. Frankly, it's just becoming a chore that I find I'm putting off more and more. It's also just about impossible to find someone reliable enough to take care of the tanks when we go on vacations.

It's been a very rewarding hobby - I've learned more than I ever thought possible about so many different things and met some amazing people over the years. I mean heck - even the gang here in the Lounge have become a important part of my keeping my sanity over the years.

Any advice from y'all?

I personally would probably take a break. Sounds like you aren't enjoying it like you once did. You can always come back if it turns out you really miss the tanks and remain a member here in the meantime :)

Keep it! So I can come chat or text ya an talk reef.

Just because I wouldn't have a tank doesn't mean I'd shut that part of my brain off!

I'd still be around here - isn't this place sorta like the Hotel California anyway????
