I am thinking of starting a tank for my high school marine biology class. I am thinking of about a 50 gallon tank, possibly a 40 breeder. There is already a place for it to go. I would need to get everything because the school does not have a budget for something like this. And sadly, nor do I. I have approval, and I just need to figure out how to get the equipment and tank for it.
Any ideas?

Reach out to your local club, and reach out to different vendors that may be willing to sponsor the project.

I don’t really have a local club. Nearest is ~100 miles away in Los Angeles

I thought about this for my classroom. I ultimately decided not to because my school is not temperature controlled in the summer.

Hate to be negative but certain HS boys are major jerks....I'd be careful of some jerk thinking it would be funny to sabotage the tank by throwing something in there like bleach when they FAIL the teacher's test/exam

Just sayin'

Yeah. This school is pretty good. Only one class a day uses the classroom (my class) and so I am not worried.
