Yeahp. Check out Benny's thread for some growth. I'm not quite sure what page this link will send you to, but it's 1 or 2 pages from the most recent. I view most recent postings first. Most people don't. Anyways, as you can see it does work. Although, the design is different. It's in an enclosure and not open as the picture in the link you posted.

Be aware that some well respected people have shown evidence that in some cases the waterfall scrubber far out performs an equivalently sized upflow scrubber. The theory is that the much higher water velocity of a waterfall scrubber and the associated smaller boundry layer makes the waterfall scrubber far more effetive in nutrient uptake. Waterfall scrubbers, however, are not silent like an upflow scrubber can be. My own experience shows that a waterfall scrubber is HIGHLY effective. I have not personally tried an upflow or floating scrubber.

I am watching this one.

Won't have the tank till the end of the year. Currently military and in korea till September so it will be a while. I'll post updates when I make though for those interested.

I agree with this. But when space is limited, you do what you can with what you have you. :tongue:
