Guys, wanted to share an interesting and puzzling development. I got this small rock with a few zoas from one of the reefers a long time ago, must have been at least 9-12 months ago. About 30 days ago I noticed something small growing, thought it was a few closed up zoa polyps clustered together. It is now clear that its some sort of a torch. Doesn't look like its from any of mine, so must have either hitchhiked on this rock or one of the plugs. Does anyone know what type of a torch this is?

Awesome Gold Torch Hitchhiker! Probably spawned in the tank you received it from, took hold on the rock, then developed in your tank! Very cool to see!

looks like it might be the Aussie gold torch, at least the color combo so far has me leaning that way. Will see once it has matured more. Will keep you guys posted.
