So this morning before work my usual check on the tank and on the back wall i see this. I usually know what most of the stuff is but not this.
Any takers lol
Will try to post a video but the outer edges kinda float and it can put out white feelers.
I have no idea what this is

Well I have no bac blooms the blob seems to just float and the feelers that come out are kinda wide like the snails the go into the sand but those snails are not cone shaped. But that's what I thought at first

In the 3rd to last photo you can see the feelers in the 10 o'clock position

So I never did ask are these good or bad ?
Never encountered one but I think it really is just a watch and see what happens approach. There’s not much material online regarding these guys. Some say, they may munch on sps but i think its not 100% proven fact. So you could just leave it watch if it does eat any of your corals and move if necessary. Or you can be proactive and rehome it into a refugium or sump.

Ya it is cool looked real quick this morning since I was running late didn't see it. But all the corals are fine.
It was pretty big bigger then a half dollar lol

Neat, I have one it looks close enough to a limpet that I just assumed it was a good guy. Cool to have a name for it now. Mine came in on gulf liverock.
