This is how I mix my salt before making saltwater

I was getting low parameters when making new saltwater.

So I’ve been doing this to mix my salt first and I’ve been getting correct parameters.

I got the planting auger from Home Depot

My lfs uses a big drill with a paint mixing paddle to make up quick batches for customers

Powerheads love running dry in a bucket of salt. Once you take it out, dip em in some vinegar.
I said cheap. I just bang em on the floor a couple times before each batch lol.

Same one for years now too.

I found that Boxes of salt are cheaper than the 5 gal buckets and make more water and come with 4 plastic bags of salt inside the box, just turn them upside down a couple times and good to go.
