Ok, so this legit made me laugh out loud.

I'm on Facebook (like normal) and I see a friend of mine commented on another persons status who I'm not friends with (clearly this will let you know why). The status reads "on July 15th Facebook is gonna end :(". My first response was a legit LOL.

Once I did more reading into the subject and trying to figure out where this information was posted from, I come across this! The worlds most "reliable" source of worldly information! EVER!

Weekly World News | The World's Only Reliable News

This is the site that the information has stemmed from. Notice when you click on the site, and you start reading, there is a box that allows you to enter your email, the box says "The Aliens are Coming", and when you enter your email, you will be sent a email notification when aliens are coming! Seems super legit! I entered all 3 of my currently active emails just to be sure that I'm aware when the aliens are on their way, you all should do the same! NOT.

Anyhow, if the website didn't give me enough assurance that Facebook wasn't ending, their Facebook page sure a heck did! Here is the page to their website that they made on the site they say is ending, Facebook.

Still seems super legit huh?

I guess I'm posting this to say that first off, people in today's society are stupid, if someone is dumb enough to believe what they read on the sites linked above, then they shouldn't be my Facebook friend, lol, rude, but I have a low tolerance for people who believe ignorant things such as this, especially since it's coming from a site with a weird shaped eared creature.

Needless to say, I've removed the friends of mine who have believed this was happening, rude, but I have LOW tolerance for stuff like that.

looks to me like it worked out for them
I mean you went to multiple websites, looking at adds, upping traffic to them signed up for a few mailing lists and posted links for more traffic to their site's

I wont say anyone is stupid, because stupid is as stupid does :)

Ouch but so true...

On the internet money is not made by hosting a dumb news site. It is made each time an advertisement pops up on the screen. Even more money is made when the ad is clicked on. Then they make more money by selling email lists to another dumb site who wants to make money like the first dumb site. It is a vicious circle of scams and people preying on other people's inability to see through the scam.

Kinda like when you kept forwarding all the messages about how Facebook was going to start charging business FB pages?? That was wasn't very 'legit' was it?

It forwarded the messages? I didn't forward any? I did repost it just incase because the person who had told me about it was a very trustworthy person, if she hadn't told me, then I wouldn't have reposted it, I never forward messages like that and if my account has, please let me know.
