Those rare fish

just like the tittle says..... let's see a pic of those rare fish you don't see everyday. Where did you get it from? What kind of personality does it have ? Would you buy it again ?

Not sure if it's particularly rare or not but I like my pair of black leopard wrasse (Macropharyngodon negrosensis) and my two tone wrasse (Halichoeres prosopeion) I'll try to get a good photo of them once they are awake and the lights are on.

We don't see Multibar angels here that often and some people have trouble keeping them. Here is mine I have had for around 6 months doing very well.

Sorry no Black Wrasse, but I do have a Black Tang which is a puppy dog. Never fights, never gets excited, just picks on the rocks and waits for me to feed.

Cling Fish; this one is a Skillet Fish (Gobiesox Strumosus)

The finger grabbing, straw stealing, camouflaging fish.

Funny fish though. The way it perches half of its body out of the water at feeding time. The goofy stare, those divergent eyes and little chin whiskers.

I don't think people purposely buy this fish. Like myself, it was a hitchhiker.

Not necessarily common in the aquarium world but super common in our native reefs around Pensacola! I love diving out around our jetties and piers and seeing these little guys hanging out in oyster shells!

I used to have one.. my LFS got a batch of about 12 in and everyone thought they were saltwater plecos [emoji23]
