I thought these things are supposed to be really well built and last a long time.
I got it Feb 18th and it hasnt been knocked around or anything and I was looking in my sump and i noticed this on the heater. The condensation is inside the glass

Bummer! :(

My jager heater lasted just under a year. I have had horrible luck with heaters and have yet to find a brand that I like. This is why I won't have a heater without a controller.

i just ordered a cobalt neo to replace it..hopefully it will last longer. I have had my cheap aqueon pro last years..oh well that was a bummer of thing..atleast I found it before it blew up

well now ya got me worryin. I've got 2 of these that are about a year old now. I'll keep a closer eye on them.

so Ehiem just got back to me and said that it is normal condensation and its fine. I dont kow if I like the fact of any water/condensation inside the heater tube that could build pressure in some way

Since it's eheim, I think it's fine. They're a great company I would doubt they would mislead you. If your still skeptical about it just monitor it or go with a different brand.
