Thoughts on helmet plate

Just got some mysis shrimp. Had been sitting completely on the sand the past four days and today isn’t touching the sand with its main top flesh. No change in chemistry and flow

Is there a question? Looks happy.. although plates of various types can inflate quite a bit and become somewhat buoyant and move around the sand bed if they are not happy. Mine like chopped up mysis and other lps pellet type food. They will often get poofy after eating too.

I guess the question is does it appear healthy or agitated. It has full extension just new to see it not sitting down all the way I guess

Looks healthy. The tissue wraps all the way around the edges so that's good. Usually if there is a problem the tissue underneath will die off and then it will progress to the out edges. They are hard to ship and often get damaged along the outer rim which causes infection. So if it looks good all around that is a big plus!

I did a quick inspection of it and it does look continuous all the way around thanks a bunch! First time I’ve had a helmet style one or seen it pull up like that so it caught me off guard even though it was eating and seemed healthy. Thanks for the calling everyone haha
