So this was a quick upgrade, but kept fighting the 65 gallon setup trying to get back in the hobby and it finally made me want to either go bigger or drop everything. So here is the info on this upgrade/build. I started with some really bad luck on a old 65 gallon setup I had years ago and it didn't stop. So here we are, found a old 90 gallon that is scratched up but here is hoping it will give me better luck along the way. This is a full custom build from the corner overflow setup, 6 foot stand with extra bracing to give me room on each side to hold food and other stuff needed along the way. Diy 55 gallon sump. But I'm ready to see how this thing turns out, it was a dream setup 10 years ago when I was running a 40 breeder and here we are. Lets get started with some pictures. I'll update as I add more to it as we go. Fish list is over full, I wasn't planning on a blue tang, but working at petco I ran across one that wasn't getting any healthier so I ended up out the door for 8 dollars and couldn't say no at that price.

Stock List
1. Yellow Tang
2. Sailfin Tang
3. Blue Hippo Tang
4. Wyoming White paired with Snowflake
5. Pair of Saddleback Clowns
6. 3 Chromis
7. Lawn Mower Blenny
8. Scooter Bleeny
9. Cleaner Shrimp
10. Random Pistol Shrimp (will explain later)

Corals
Just a rack of random zoas, few monti caps, and random softies.
Plan on adding more as time goes

Along the way I looked into my bucket of sand and found the random pistol shrimp. I haven't bought one and haven't got anything from anyone that has had one along this setup. So was a nice surprise to find him running around in there

And finally now we are on day 3 and I got my ATO installed as well as skimmer stand. Water is clear and fish are ready for some food and the finaly scrubbing of the glass. Then just to play with the aquascape a bit more. I have rocks tucked in the front and back until I could see enough to get the corals off them and decide if they will stay or go

Hey Thrashed,
Don't mean to be critical, but pay attention to the horizontal 2 x 4's on the front of the frame. You get a lot more strength when they are placed vertically rather than flat. You've got close to 1000 pounds on the top. Hopefully the won't begin to sag. The back rail should be ok since you have additional vertical legs to absorb the weight.

Good luck with your setup.

I have removable braces for there. I’ve already thought about it and can slide them in and out as I’m working under the tank
