I was away from my tank and the doser volumes were not enough.
The tank is 120g mixed reef. Most things look ok. The urchin knocked a bunch of frags to the sand.
While away, the auto feeder was increased from 2 feedings a day to 3 feedings, because there was no frozen at night.
Day I left, my parameters were
ALK 9.2 Calc 470 Magn 1500 Nitrate 13.9 Phos 0.17
My targets are
ALK 9.5 Calc 450 Magn 1470 Nitrate 10 Phos 0.10
Now
ALK 8.2 Calc 520 Magn 1500 Nitrate 19.5 Phos 0.37
I am using BRS two part for the ALK and Calc - so I am thinking of increasing the ALK daily dose (delivered half dose twice a day) from 55ml to 75ml and test daily for next week? Calc does is 145, and will reduce to 130ml until I see it start to drop under 500?
I am ok with the Nitrates but the Phos need to come down with either NoPox or GFO and perhaps dose NEONITRATE?
What say those who know alot more than me?
Cheers
