Thought you guys might appreciate this. I'm on vacation in Cancun right now, and the resort I'm staying at has carved out a tidal pool into a full swimming pool.
Coming in from the ocean are all sorts of fish and marine animals, and it's making me wish I had an underwater camera. There's Tangs, damaels, wrasse, dwarf angels and all sorts of crabs and even a little encrusting sps in here.
Yesterday there was a small freak out when someone discovered a scorpionfish hiding in the macroalgae.
It's been crazy fun essentially swimming in a huge aquarium. There is a massive blue colored Tang that seems to run this pool, and it comes right up to you begging for food.
