I think it's time to replace my SWC NW-200 skimmer. I've been running this skimmer since I started in this hobby back in '07 and I have to say, it has been a great performer. This skimmer was originally used for my 120 display in a 30G sump under the stand. Over the next year it grew to a 100G sump plumbed to the basement with a 40 breeder piped in as well. It's time for something that can handle the extra load. I put this off for over a year and a half and now it's time. I'm thinking about going for the SWC300A. I figure I have about 225-250G of total water volume in my system with a medium to heavy bio load. I was considering the SWC250A but I think I will be on the edge of its range. Anybody have any other good skimmer suggestions? I'd like to stick to around the SWC250A/300A price range. Thanks.

I absolutely love my Eshopps Sno Cone, it is the best skimmer I have ever owned and I've owned Bubble Kings, SWC, even the alpha cone. It literally requires no adjusting, and skims my 120 like crazy.

A lot of people will say there are better, but not in my experience.
