Time for skimmer upgrade

What skimmer would everyone suggest for a 72 gallon with 20gallon sump.. heavy stocked sps tank.?

Sro xp1000sss is my recommendation! Or vertex omega 150. I have the sro 2000sss and it's a champ!

Look into Life Reef skimmers. Tried and true old school design. They just plain work. No fiddling, only one adjustment, self cleaning venturi, can be made ozone ready, no parts to wear out, excellent value, terrific support... i replaced a Vertex Alpha (that was much too big for my system) and couldn't be happier. Will never go back to needle wheels or any of the other gimmicks.

+1 on this. Probably your best two choices. Bubble Magus makes some decent skimmers too...examples would be the NAC-7 or NAC-9.
