I currently run 2 x 150w Phoenix 14ks on Hamilton Reflectors with Hamilton Magnetic Ballasts. I'm getting good color with my SPS, but want more.

Anybody have experience with the 150w Radiums? How blue are they? I'm not a huge fan of super blue tanks, but I do want some color. Will the 20k slow down growth? I have actually enjoyed the 14k Phoenix, as they get a nice color after burn in time.

Should I stick with the 14k Phoenix, or go with the Radiums?

I haven't tried radiums but have heard many times how nice they are. The reason I haven't tried them is because I'm very happy with the phoenix bulbs. Tried ushio and others and came back to phoenix.

a quick look on sanjay's number show 20k radium just under all the 10k bulbs in terms of par. Phoenix bulbs arent list but radiums are pretty blue - especially on mag ballasts. If you are getting good growth and you like the color - dont change it - "dont fix it if aint broke"
