While draining my frag QT tank for a thorough cleaning, I found a handful of these tiny spindly stars. My first thought was "cool!" Does anyone know what kind they are? Hard to tell in pics, but the legs are white. I thought serpent stars were dark. Will they be safe to add to my display?

As long as you have rocks for them to hide in, I’d put them in the DT so they can clean up food waste.
You underestimate how grody my sump is. :p I figure as they multiply (and I'm sure they will), I can pluck them out and put them in the DT.

White micro stars. Good detritivores. They come and go.
