Hi folks! If there is a thread on this, I could not find it and would love a link as to not waste anyones time. Ok here’s the question. Lol

Can you have too much shimmer?

I just got a new light and I love the way the shimmer looks but am curious how that affects growth and over all happiness of my inhabitants. It’s like a techno show in there and as humans some of will have seizures in an environment like that. The biocube hood had little to no shimmer so it’s alarming how much movement I’m seeing in comparison to that….thing. lol tia!!!

As to whether or not you can have "too much" shimmer, I don't know - however I wouldn't worry about it What you have going on looks fine..

I’m ballin on a budget so I went cheap with the SmatFarms 95w led. Crazy adjustability, beautiful color, perfect cover and great reviews. The only thing is, it does not have an app but I’m ok with that @ $130. We will be getting a par meter and will post readings with pictures.
