Toadstool acting funny

I have this toadstool that is about 6 inches across...lately it has been folding it's edges...could that be that it might be getting ready to drop babies or just the nature of the beast?

As it gets bigger the edges fold and create wave pattern.

When mine reproduced asexually, the new leather sprouted a branch near the base of the original. When it got big enough, it split from the "parent" and moved an inch away.
