In low (and even high) flow with time toadstools will naturally attach themselves. They also have quite a few babies once fully established and large. If I don't remove the babies, in about a week they will fully adhere to either glass, rock, or an aragonite sand clump depending where they had landed

Toadstools and leathers are strange and hard to predict IMO - I do love them though. They can triple in size, then one day be all closed and shriveled, stay like that for a week, and just when you are planning the funeral and what to replace it with, bam - bigger and more beautiful then ever. Looks like yours will be fine!

This is a picture of mine today all last weekend and all week it was shriveled and hard really thought it was dead algae was growing on it and I blew it off and changed my flow to hit it more harder.
Was going to take it out today and boom bigger and brighter then ever when I got up.
2nd Pic is lower in the tank and always takes a while to open up but always does.
I fragged my big one idk what I did but the mother one did not survive maybe I did to much but I got 5 frags out of it and it took a while but they all survived sorry but that guy always photo bombs my pics lol
They do like to sulk alot just gotta let them do their thing.
