Toadstool closing help

Toadstool hasn’t been opening


It’s normally super long green things coming from it and I’ve changed absolutely nothing about the tank or my water changes. Besides adding some dragons breath and a snail and the toadstool doesn’t look the same anymore

With adequate flow it should open back up. If not check chemistry.

I did make a mistake and bump him when I was cleaning the tank but I didn’t know they was so dramatic

Very dramatic.

They also develop a waxy coating on the crown. The coral will close up until it sheds the coating. This prevents algae and detritus from accumulating on the crown.
