Toadstool survival??

Yesterday I introduced this toadstool coral into my six month old tank. I don’t know what is wrong with it. It’s kind of slumped over and not looking good. What is the chance it rebounds? Also, what could be causing this? Just stress or something bad please let me know the timeline it may take for it to come back or if it’s already too late? I’m giving it some light and pretty gentle flow. No ammonia or nitrite little calcium is around 550 and .25 phosphate temp is around 77 to 78. Salinity seems to be pretty good?

How is the flow? IME they like good amount of random flow patterns, they flop over in low flow IME.

Answered in your other thread, but I agree with Mojo, it almost certainly needs more flow. They are hardy and like to be moved around a bit. Strong medium flow.

You don’t mention the current Alk level and the change in 24hours or the actual salinity reading and it’s change in 24 hours.

Incorrect levels or too much daily flux this coral hates. At the same time, is very resilient but can take weeks to be happy again.

It’s new, they don’t like change at all.
I’d not touch him for at least 2-3 weeks.
Just leave him alone.
