Does anyone else supplement feeding with fish eggs? I picked up a package at the asian market. I made sure it's just the plain eggs.

The fish seem to really like them!

Any concerns or anyone else doing this?

I've considered it, but have't done it yet because they add sugar and salt to them. Never seen them sold without this added, as it would taste odd and not last as long. Sometimes they even add food coloring. This should all be fine (would try to avoid colored tobiko though), since people even dose sugar for carbon dosing.

Oh yea definitely. I verified with the ingredient list on this one. They also have black (squid ink) and green (wasabi) which I avoided!

I seasonally feed roe when the fish I catch for the dinner table are spawning. I collect their roe when I filet them and feed to the tank. Economical and my reef loves it!
