Um, that would be me. I was working in the tank and the pair of jeweler's forceps slipped out of my hand and stabbed the clam. It never fully opened after that and died a few days later. I was very sad.

It must have gotten a bacterial infection from the wound. That's where an ultraviolet sterilizer could come in handy.

Possibly. Or I might have stabbed something vital... who knows. I have never owned a UV sterilizer before, and I'm not sure that there is space for one in the cabinet. I'll get a pic of the inner workings and post it soon.

Wow! How cool is that [emoji2]

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked. I'm getting the stuff together to try my hand at raising them. Hopefully I will be able to raise at least a couple of them. Who knows there may not even be any babies from this batch. We shall see.

Here is the cabinet... not cleaned up for the photo and still needing additional organizing of wires.

The babies that were born in April. Eleven were born and six were eaten by dad before I figured out there was a gap in the divide that was separating them... Live and learn.

Lol. So far just some frozen mysis and bloodworms. The rest will probably go towards CUC members... the crew needs reinforcements!

I just added 5 more Scarlet Hermits or Red legged Hermits whatever-lol. Love these lil guys! Only Hermits I'll own.
My Strawberry Conch is still going strong too. Almost 2yrs in my tank. [emoji2]

Love the tent by the way. Makes me homesick [emoji38]
