Too many bristle worms?

Is it possible to have too many bristle worms in your tank? I know that I have always had a few and they are great scavengers, however I looked in my tank last night when the light were off and I saw at least 40 everywhere in my 90 gallon. Should I leave them all in there or maybe remove some? Thanks.

I like them. I think they do a great job cleaning up behind messy eaters. You can get an arrow crab if you want to thin out your herd of worms. :)

I say bring it on... whatever they can eat is fine by me. Let them thin themselves out.

Personally, I hate them. If nothing else, I just don't like the looks of them. I know most people think they are great for your system, but I get rid of them as soon as I can. Just a personal preference.

Thanks for the input everyone. I agree they are nasty however they serve a purpose so I'll leave them alone

I hate seeing those bristle worms in my 40 Breeder.

I have alot of zoa and chalice frags on the sandbed. When I move them around, I always fear of getting stung.

Every chance I get, I pull them out and drop them in tap water (RO is too good for them).

I know they are great scavengers, but I have hermits and snails that do the same thing.
