Some people add and add and forget to re-test their levels and then adjust the amount they dose. Other than that, I packed out my left side and I'm working on my right side now lol, while leaving enough room for the colonies to grow of course.

My motto is they will grow around eachother. I probably have 60+ frags in my 60gal cube lol

Got about 175 different frags from 1" to 6" colonies.
Almost all SPS are tank grown by other reefers around the country.
And all of them grown from average 1" frags.

if you do not know all of their names then that means you have too many frags.
I was like that years ago too. keep buying one or two everytime I see nice one. Until you know, the tank is filled with full of just frags.
I now have about 10-12 sps in my 120g that i am growing them out.

It's never enough.

My 180g. They will grow around each other but sometimes you have to play referee.

SPS seldom actually sting each other. many are remarkable adept at growing around through and over the other. They evolved to deal with crowded conditions where every colony is trying to spread out horizontally and hog every square inch of available light area. Rather than stinging most sps depend on fast growth and shading to claim their space. If do not you allow them to grow around and into each other you will never get to see their adaptability and begin to make some sense out of all of their different growth patterns. Let em fight it out.
