Too much flow?

I have 3 different zoas in my tank. They have been in the tank for a couple weeks. I noticed one of them (the orange one) is starting to get a loose skirt, and maybe lengthening. The blue one was always long but might also be getting longer. The yellow one is about that same as it’s been. The only difference between them is the height in the tank, getting closer to the flow from the gyre. The yellow one is about 6 inches from the bottom. The orange about 3inches higher and the blue almost at the top of the live rock. All are under the same AI prime 16HD on the left side of tank.

Think they are getting too much flow?

I don’t think they are getting too much flow as the polyps are fully open. If they were under strong current they would close up or at the least not open up fully.
moreover, certain species of Zoanthids, parazoanthid and Palythoas will exhibit thicker, longer skirts than others so that isn’t a very good test of water flow In my opinion.

Ok, just wanted to make sure. First zoas, so wasn’t sure the “typical” look. Sounds like the skirt size varies.
