It seems that my torches are melting and I don’t know why. Any thoughts?

Dkh: 8.8
Nitrate: 16.3ppm
Phosphate: .03ppm

Any idea what your par is on your lighting?
Not sure, these are the peak settings on my ai prime. It’s on a 15 gal AIO that’s 15in x 15in

That video looks like its taken in the night time? Can you take a day time pic? What do you have for water movement in the tank? Can you show a full tank pic? I can't tell from your lighting, but how long is the peak lighting period?

It was at night, I think k it’s brown jelly😢

Honestly i cant tell if its bjd. If its bjd it turns to brown mush and may have to be treated; at best it looks like beginning of polyp bailout as flesh peeling from skeleton

Unfortunately I’ve had bj in the past and like you said it looks different. I moved it into a lower flow and lower light area and praying it can make a recovery.

The first picture shows its mesenterial filaments used when battling anther coral or feeding. Take the coral out and smell it and if it smells like death it’s bjd. Treat with Cipro asap.

How would I go about treating with cipro and any recommendations for where to get it?

This is where I got it after the crackdown that made it to be unable to sell without a prescription. The best and fastest way would explain why you need it to your vet. When I was at the vet with my dog I explained to him why I might need it for my saltwater tank and when I checked out there was a bottle waiting for me.

Make sure you remove your activated carbon and turn off your skimmer during treatment.

It’s an AIO, so no skimmer

That’s what it does, about 4 years ago when I got back from vacation it took out 3 torches, 2 hammers and 2 frogspawn. I’ve kept Cipro on hand since

Placed the order🙏🏼🙏🏼 get here ASAP please🙏🏼. I appreciate your time and help. Wish you the best!

That does not look like BJD to me, or the video doesn't show the cloudy, gooey mess that is BJD.

They don't look good though, and I hate doing this, but I would do what was posted above, take one out and smell it, if it smells like death it probably is bjd.

I would take them out immediately and treat with kfc dip. Bjd will come very fast probably 1 day since a polyp bail out and will spread to other euphyllia
