Torch Coral stinging question

Hello. I have a spot of live rock that I would like to add a coral with some movement, like a torch. I've read that torches sting nearby corals. The only thing somewhat near the sides of this spot is a purple Pavona, however, below this spot the live rock is encrusted with a couple types of leptoseris and psammocora. If the polyps of a torch "swing" downward and brushes the encrusting corals, will it kill them? Having never had a torch I'm not sure how strong the sting is. Thanks.

Sure, the pic I have on my phone has some blue light (I'm not at home currently) in it, hopefully it's good enough.

The spot I'm talking about is where the shriveled up goniopora (goniopora was beautiful and big for 6-7 months and now over the last week has barely had any polyp extension at all and looks to be on the way out) is. The encrusting corals are below and the Pavona is on the upper left.

Doesn't necessarily need to be a torch, just wanting something with some movement on that little perch. I don't want to try another Goniopora, not a fan of coral not making it.

Oh by the way, that spot I'm referring to has a PAR reading of 165 and that little area gets what I would say medium flow. I keep my nutrients at:

Alk: 7.8-7.9 steady
Phos: 0.03-0.04
Nitrate: 5.5-6

So I have fallen in love with hammers, frogspawn and octospawn (same family)…they can all be together (not with torches though) and have an amazing sway in a good flow! They can touch one another and you can make a garden out of the combos! Here’s a few of mine I love…they’re moving to my new tank in a few weeks since they’ve outgrown their current home!!

I have one hammer, it's really nice but hates flow, I had to move to a lower flow area to get it to really extend. The frogspawn are cool, would they handle a bit more flow and would they sting the encrusting corals below?

Unfortunately yes if they swing down to it they will. Most euphyllia coral that sway are in moderate indirect flow so they’re always moving around. You risk stinging with anything that moves and is too close to other corals.
