I already have a hammer coral which my shrimp have not touched. I bought them to rid aptasia. My question is can i put a torch coral in my tank or will they eat it?

Tough question.
IMO anything that had polyps the peps will go after.
For that their qualification on the reef save side is is with caution.

I have two peps in my 40G with 10 torches/hammers/froggies. They have not touched any of them. I would not be to concerned.

Aiptasia are meaty flesh no different than soft and lps coral. The shrimp gotta eat, and don't discriminate. I for one would never add a peppermint. I've seen first hand the damage they can and will do if they are not feed
