Just recently purchased a Holy Grail torch and a Dragon Torch. Can these two be close together where they are touching without harming each other? I also have a frogspawn, duncan and GSP. Redoing my aquascape and not really sure what can touch and what cant touch each other. Thanks!

They should be okay to brush each other and nothing else.

^more precise. Brush 👌but they will want their own space to grow

Thanks. Yes I’d like them to grow. I will give them space to allow for growth.

Mine are all close together with a bit of space. They all brush on each other with the water movement.

Torch can touch torch but not the frogspawn or octo or hammer.

I've placed torches a little too close to eachother once, and the bigger one sort of "shaded" and bothered the other to the point where it started to shrink.

Do you have photos?

My opinion has changed on this topic for two reasons.

1). I had a torch garden, all pretty close, one torch got BJD, all torches got it because they were touching.
2). When I changed to more space they grew a lot faster.

Do you do anything to try and prevent BJD?
I have not and fortunately haven't had an issue, but will keep your experience with BJD in mind. Thanks.

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
