Torch dead out of nowhere?

Hey all,
I had posted 2 days ago in the wrong forum about my torch that had randomly closed one side & the other side had opened put of nowhere. This was that post:

I have a torch that has 3 heads, total. It's been in the tank for just about a month & started off more than happy. It would then go through cycles, with 2 of the heads being fully extended & the 3rd being partial. Well, the last few days, the front piece with the 2 heads has been mostly closed, but the back, single head is just happy as can be.
What could cause that? Could the piece in the front just be closed because it's separating further into 2 distinct heads or could it be something else?
I've never run into only part of a coral being unhappy, while the rest of it is thriving, so just curious.

Having said that, I adjusted lighting, tested my params, fed the tank & proceeded on with my days. Less than 24 hours later, the side that had 2 heads & eas consistently happy & flowing is now dead. Like, slimed & bare skeleton dead, while the single head on the other side is still happy as can be. Or at least it was until I fragged it in fear of the other side killing it. It's been back in the tank about 15 minutes & its already reopened & flowing in the current.
I just don't understand why the other side just randomly died.

I'm really aggravated because everything is within parameters aside from my salinity, which rose to .028 due to evap.
Is the salinity increase enough to have killed it without hurting anything else? Wouldn't it have killed both sides if that were the case?

I'm so confused & frustrated bc that was my favorite coral. I just want to know what I should look for so this doesn't happen in the future.

If all perimeters are on point, whenever euphyllia dies off like that its either pests or lighting, do you have any other torchs or hammers in the aquarium? Are they effected?

The head that eas fully separated is fine, along with my hammer coral.
Otherwise there's a chalice, a xenia & zoas, along with a tube anemone that are all well & seemingly happy.
I'm wondering if it's lighting. I've been steuggling with learning proper lighting & I think the light my LFS sold me may be too strong, or too close to the surface of the water.
The torch is at the top level of the tank, in high lighting & high flow. 7hrs of fluctuating mixed spectrum, 2 hours pure blue lighting @100%, then 1 hour in the am & 1 hour in the pm of gradual lighting increase with pure blue. If that makes sense.

Original tank was 5 years old. I was in process of setting up a new one when the old one sprung a leak that I couldn't fix.
Everything from the established tank, including 80% of the water, the filtration, etc was moved over. The "new" tank has been up for approx 3 mos.
I wrote down the params. Just a sec and I'll post those.
High flow, idk the exact flow rate.

Torches don't like high flow. It's low moderate flow and 200 to 250 par
