I have a 4 head torch that has been retracted all day. This torch is normally massively extended I’ve had it about 5 months. It’s not closed, just not fully extended. All my other torches (around 8) look normal. Does a torch ever just have a bad day? Or is there about to be a problem?

Mine has been up and down for months but it’s still growing but I do have to wonder what it is doing, and why?

I don’t know if it’s reacting to the food it might randomly capture or if a fish is bothering it, but as long as I don’t see any heads melting I just let it do its thing.

Personally my hermit crabs love to climb up on my torch colonies which always causes those parts to close
