Just looking for any info if possible. These aren’t the prettiest torches for sure, but I got both for 40 dollars total, and I couldn’t pass it up. They were listed as “Micronesian torch corals” on their label.

those torches look stressed. One of the heads is already dying. I would try an iodine or chemiclean dip to remove any bacteria. Also make sure they are not getting blasted with flow and that your fish/invertebrate aren’t running into them. Check your parameters. Low Magnesium can cause issues.

That picture is from the day I added them. No doubt they were not happy. Its been almost a month now. I was just curious if anyone had seen these before at a petco or anything. I know i didnt get ripped off or anything. I had just figured I would ask and see if anyone also had any luck with low tier torches like this.

After a month, how are they doing?

They seem to be happy enough. The thing that bothers them the most is why my copperband steals mysis from them. Just a hazard of the livestock I guess. Ive realized they dont have the longest polyps for sure, Only about 2 maybe 3 inches long. This particular species definitely does not like much flow, I did learn that.
