last night i ordered some buffered vitamin c powder to add to the tank, and some marine snow and a 420nm actinic bulb to replace the 50/50 bulb. i'm hoping a 2:1 blue:white will help my corals color pop more.

usps is dumb, but ill have my magicians wednesday afternoon. i am thinking about building a new canopy to stain and match my stand, and also getting the doors made, stained, and attached to the cabinet. i'm thikning for the canopy that ill not have a closed top, but instead use 1 by's to attach each reflecvtor, allowing heat to escape out of the top rather than sit inside the canopy and bake it. then when i upgrade to leds, i can remove the 1 by's and hang the light fixture above the tank, and still have the matching stand and canopy look. i'll draw up some plans here in a few and see if i like what i can come up with. not sure if i will still use the piano hinge idea with having an open top canopy. it will make it a pain to feed without it. even now i thinking about how to get the canopy to sit on the tank when it is open top with leds to be able to reach in and open the glass lid to feed without the supports overlapping and causing issues.

Going to get some acans and sps. First attempt at sps. Got a mille and a birdsnest coming. They are going to be placed on the top of the rocks on the left. Hope I can keep them successfully

New addition today. Yellow watchman goby and a tiger pistol shrimp!

Getting the wood to finish my doors on my stand and to skin a stand for my ten gallon frag tank! Only thing I need now for bit is an overflow and some plumbing. Torn between an eshopps nano overflow box or a glass holes super nano overflow kit never drilled glass but I'm kinda handy with tools.
