Tough Love vs. Spanking



Most Americans think it improper to spank children, so I tried other methods to control my kids when they have one of 'those moments.'
One that I found effective is to take the child for a ride and talk.

Some say it's the vibration of the car, others say it's the time away from distractions such as TV, Video Games, Computer, IPod, etc.

Either way, my kids calm down and stop misbehaving after our ride together. Eye to eye contact helps too.

I've included a photo of one of my sessions with my son, in case you would like to use the technique.

For some reason, they now ASK for spankings when they get in trouble...haven't figured out why.

Ya know when I was younger and I was a child growing up I thought I had a different first name... My father always said D***-IT David! So I thought that was My first name. Some of our neighbors thought so as well.
