Hi all - having an issue identifying the algae in my tank. Looks like GHA but also like chrysophytes…

i just set up my sump w/refugium a couple of days ago. So hopefully the Chaeto will grab all the phosphate in the water column. I do not feed too heavily. But phosphates were reading .25 ppm I think.

Looks like normal cycle to me. Is this the tank you started this September? Did you setup with dry sand & rock and add bacteria in a bottle? You now need some janitors; either get a CUC or use a toothbrush and brush it clean.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
