Trachyphyllia - Slime or otherwise?

Good afternoon all,

I have a trachy that has been doing seemingly well for several months - rests on the sandbed in 125-150 PAR, takes food regularly, and extends full on a daily basis. Today while feeding I noticed a larger than typical mucus production, especially underneath the "mantle" which isn't normally visible. Has anyone seen similar mucus productions or is this something else entirely?

Usually see this after a hard dip. Did you dip them recently?

No dip within the past 45 days.

Params:
pH - 8
Amm - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - <5
Salinity - 1.027
Alk - 8
Cal - 420

I'm not an expert but it might be an infection. Does the tissue look like it's receding today or getting worst?

Did anyone figure out what is causing this?

I just noticed 3 of my 6 Trachyphyllias that I have for years, started producing some slime strings... and having these mesenterial filaments around the edge - exactly like in this picture.

This is so weird.
Absolutely nothing changed in the tank. All parameters are stable for years... usual routine maintainance and everything else for years....
I mean, Trachys are still puffing up and they feed at night...
But they just started producing those slimy strings out of nowhere and those mesenterial filaments exposed around the edge.
-- It's like they are trying to defend themselves from something.
I tried dipping them - but notning changed.

I don't get it.

Hey, old post i know. Did you have any issues after noticing these? Did they go away?
