As title suggests-is switching from nopox to vinegar a straightforward transition for nitrate control?
I've been adding 3.2ml of nopox daily (165 litre minus displacement)to keep nitrate in my desired range (5-6ppm)
I ran out last week & nitrate has crept upto 10.8.
I'm loathed to spend £12 on a 100ml bottle of nopox if vinegar can do the job.
Any nuances or tricks to switching?
Also-what variety is best.
I'm assuming plain old distilled white vinegar & not the fancy white wine derived type my wife keeps in the cupboard! :face-with-tears-of-joy:
