Got to love long weekends. Letting things cure and then going to leak test with freshwater!

Hello my name is Brandon and this is my first build thread. I found a 93 gallon aquarium getting thrown out at work and thought it would be fun to document bringing it back to life. I already have a 40 gallon breeder with attached 30 gallon frag tank and the wife okayed the upgrade[emoji2].

I have to move my saltwater out of the bedroom in the next few months so when I do I hope to just transfer to this aquarium.

I plan to re use as much as I can and to diy as much as I can. Nothing high dollar but it will hopefully work and grow coral!

The tank was used as a sump and has a lot of scratches. I hope to buff them out.

Great restoration of that tank! All your hard work looks to be paying off. The rock work makes it, you used that space very well. I like how that point goes towards the corner. You get two completely different views from each pane.

Thank you all for the kind words. It took some balancing because most is dry stacked. Used putty in a few areas to secure the clam but the rest the rock let me. I am super stoked with how it turned out so far. Can't wait for the coral to start changing the scape as it grows.

Here are some pictures under blues. Have a micro bubble issue going right now, but working on it.

Will try and keep this thread updated with tank progress. It's been fun. To document everything. I know some corals will have to move when they get bigger but this is what I have so far.

I have my clam under 250 par with the edges ranging around 70 to 95 par. Top of rock work with most of the sps is between 250 and 350 par. Will see how things grow!
