Tridnet stuck valve

6 month old Trident, #1 valve stuck. watched YT for solutions. Went to remove the so9lenoid and Neptune applied smudged of ?hot glue? to show if the solenoid has been removed. Assuming for warranty claims. Pulled one off, stopped before I got to the other. I'm not afraid to open things up and clean them, but .......

I've cleared the linesand the button on #1 is incredibly stiff. Thoughts?

silastic adhesive (RTV epoxy) or hot glue are sometimes used to stabilize components that vibrate so they don't break their solder joints, that would be my first assumption for this.

usually tamper-resistant stickers are used for warranty stuff, though it's actually illegal in the US to deny warranty claims based on that, but companies will try to get away with it anyway because most people aren't fully aware of their rights

You can find replacement solenoids on eBay, usually about $35. It is just a little hot glue used to keep the solenoid from moving around.
