Has anybody else purchased the Trigger Fleece System with the version 2 controller? I purchased the Trigger Titanium 34 Sump and the roller fleece system during the Memorial Day sale on BRS - a great deal.BUT the issue is the Fleece Sensor system...Not operating as designed, it just spools fleece... (None of the sensors are activating)...I reached out to Trigger with the help of BRS, and am still waiting for a response from them, which has been almost a week now. Does anyone have a setup using the three sensors? PM me...see photos

I have the platinum sump with the fleece roller still has the old float switches which aren’t working emailed trigger a few days ago and nothing. I ordered the v2 controller today so seeing this post is discouraging. Always wanted a fleece roller but dang this doesn’t seem worth it.

Well that sucks...and not very encoraging...they also do not have a phone number, only an email address. I am going to give them One week before I return it to BRS...

To elaborate: they cut their gears out of acrylic, so they are extremely brittle. Any sort of snail or critter sneaks past your overflows and jams the mat, and you are ordering replacement parts. The mat guides down at the bottom of the unit are fixed in place and nearly impossible to clean of biofouling that will jam and tear your mat. Absolutely terrible design all around and needs total redesign.

Do you know if the Clearasea Gen 3 will fit in the same compartment or am I stuck with socks or their (Trigger) fleece mat?

following along as I have problems with mine as well. For me, two sensors work properly (Main and Sensor3). Sensor2 either runs constantly or never runs. Not a problem with optical sensor. Tried 3 in Main, all worked.

Waiting on Trigger to get back with me.

UPDATE: 7 JULY 2025: I had BRS reach out on my behalf, someone from Trigger replied..and their response was even more confusing. I ask for clarification, 10 days later still waiting on that reply. In thr meantime, I decided to play around with the device. Using the Sensor mode, In the sensor menu, Sensor Number 2 Turn ON and Sensor 3 I selected UNUSED. My third Sensor is located in my return chamber. I also activated the "Fleece Alarm" since I ran a wire from the side of the control box to my breakout box. In theory, should Trigger the Apex alarm when my fleece runs out. Also, I have added another code in my"Fleece" outlet on my Apex to turn OFF whenever I am doing maintenance so that the Fleece is NoT running continuously.

I've had my roller sump v.2 for several years without a hiccup. Never used the sensor advance. My timer is set to 5 seconds every 30 minutes when new decreasing to 3 seconds every 90 by roll's end and maintains a consistent water level. No water changes (beyond topping up) for 5 years (FOWLR w/a bunch of nems 100g ). Rolls last slightly over 2 months.

I appreciate the response. I finally figured out the sensor option, posted it right above yours. It is a very quirky, and none flashy way to do it. The timer option that you used is also an alternative that I tried...but I like the stair step look in my sump( having three different water height levels in the sump)...I was able to achieve that with the sensors.

I do t know if you saw my response on 7 July, but I was able to achieve the sensor flow option, instead of just using the timer)

I was able to use two of the three sensors by using Main and Sensor3. When Sensor2 is set to anything other than "unused," nothing works as expected.
