Trigger sapphire and roller

Have a trigger sapphire 39, does the trigger fleece roller work with this? If no, any modification to make it work?

The fleece roller works on the Titanium and Platinum series sumps. The sock compartment on the sapphire is too small for it to fit. I'm not sure a modification would work as the water needs to be diverted to the fleece roller.
