Hey, I have been a member on here for some time now and don't usually post or complain much if at all but I can't not say anything about my experience with trigger sumps, and the scam that I feel they have going on after you buy one of there sumps with the awesome fleece roller system. Yes my writing and grammar may not be the best cus im not to happy with my experience . I have been a trigger customer for over 10 years and have had no problems with there sump equipment until now after I purchased and upgraded from my trigger sapphire to the new and supposedly better and best trigger platinum fleece roller sump for $1200. After making the mistake of buying this so called awesome trigger sump, I have had nothing but problems, from gear, motor and water level or float censors that rum the roller system not working at all orl waisting the full fleece roll. I have contacted trigger systems customer service and let the know my problems and concerns and got a response of explain better or why you feel like that. And after I explained and gave them the answers they didn't want, I didn't get a response for over 2 weeks now and still have not. The first time I emailed them they responded the next day, now the trigger company or representatives won't respond after being told the truth about there products. I would recommend for people or customers that my be interested or looking at all the pretty trigger sumps with fleece roller to think twice before spending $1200 on something that doesn't work and is probably worth $700 to at most $800. Im not posting this to talk bad about trigger, I have been a happy customer of trigger for over 10 years like I said but now I regret ever switching from my sapphire with sump socks to the trigger platinum 39 fleece roller system because it should of never been put out for sale because it dosent work. Take my word and experience or don't it's up to you. Thank you for your time.

Do you still have the sapphire? Can you return the new one or are you stuck? You are not the first person I’ve heard mention that the roller system doesn’t work and the company ignored the issues

I have a Ruby and am very happy with it. First thing I did when setting it up was throw out the socks. I don’t use any form of mechanical filtration and to me, roller systems are just eventual points of failure

No I sold my old sump and wish I would have never purchased the newer better sump because it sucks, im having to run it by hand everyday, so it's almost like having to deal with my sump socks excepted now I have to deal with I everyday now. I have been a trigger sump customer for over 10 to 15 years now and had been happy with there sumps until I got scammed into paying $1200 for the supposedly better trigger platinum with fleece roller that sounded and since I trusted this company so far, why not try something new! But it's a scam, it seems that they never tested the new equipment and didn't care as long as they got your money. I just wanted to post something so nobody gets scammed by trigger like I did. And don't bother trying to contact the owner because he doesn't care he will be very defensive and will only make excuses.
