I’ve already emailed @Lou Ekus. Hoping someone could answer my question now.

Component B instructions:

286 g / 16 scoops to 1 gallon of RO/DI water. By the time I am at the 12th scoop, my scale registers 286 grams.

Component A (288 g / 12 scoops) and C (91 g / 4 scoops) match up.

Not sure if Component B instructions are wrong or I’m not getting something.

I don't think so. Brand new. First time removed it from the wrapping. @Lou Ekus actually gave it to me for free at RAP a few months ago at RAP.

No measuring line. The instructions for all three say X scoops. Not X scoops to Y line.

OK. I doubt it absorbed that much water or CO2.

I just heard back from our lab in Germany. I can't thank you enough for making an actual weight measurement of this addition. As it turns out, the bulk weight of our raw material has changed, and this weight change was not noted properly when the new boxes were printed. The weight measurement is still correct. The proper weight is still 286g for the one gallon mixture. However, it is true that you will get that 286g now from 11 full level scoops NOT 16.



We will be making this change on or website instructions and on our packaging. Thank you again for doing careful science and weighing this out.
