Saying the same thing yet still no supply

comforting

If that’s the answer then what else could they say?

There is a link in post 2 of this thread where TM explain the situation, the guy even said he understands if people move away from TM because of the stock issue, good customer service is not just about getting what you want.

Reef crystal and io are terrible I would wait out for the tropic marin

Simple it mixes dirty leaves crud in the mixing tanks. For the money they want for it they could make a better salt
I have never had an issue, what causes that you think? i only mix 20 gallons at a time and immediately use it. do you do the same?

Where does all The salt go if the supply is stepped up?

who’s getting all this salt, resulting in a shortage for the hobbyist

this has been going on since October yeah?

I’m tired of the stress of not being able to get this salt and am ready to change brands. Looking for recommendations from those who have had success changing. What did you change to and how was the transition?
I use NeoMarine

TM said staffing is at the same lvls, and they have upped production, demand has took off is the main issue, same for AFR.

I know my LFS said demand generally has increased with lockdowns etc

They will match online price at petco. Petsmart usually has it on sale for online prices. Chewy is also a great to buy.
here is a Tip:

Go with chewy and take that price to petsmart and they will honor it.

CHEWY OWNS PETSMART !!

Bucket of reef crystals is $46 on Amazon. I use reef crystals, and red seas blue bucket. 3 scoops Red Sea and 1.5 scoops reef crystals. I get alk around 8. Just where I like it.

My go to place for livestock and advice. I haven't asked Jen what she has for salt mix, though.

Do you mind backing up your statement? I've been using it for two years with zero issue.
The salt leaves so much of gunk in the mixing drum. I am sure there is more of that goes in the tank as well. Also the water mix from different sides of the bucket are inconsistent. Check out the video from BRS comparing alkalinity consistency

I switched to IO Reef Crystals, slow change of 3 water changes over 3 weeks . Everything is doing great, possibly better to be honest.

I doubt I will ever go back to TMP, to costly and honestly I saw less coral growth with it.
Same. Now on IO Reef Crystals...after 20 years + of Tropic Marin. All good here last few months.

Instant ocean. $33 for 160 gallon bucket petsmart when you subscribe... salt is salt.. just saying . ..

everytime someone posts the cost of IO it gets cheaper, they will be giving it away soon!
I can see why it’s so popular, it’s £46 where I am, around $65 so twice the cost.
TM pro is only £10 more.
