Switched to fritz from Tropic Marin pro when I couldn’t find TM. My thinking was that all of my local LFS use it in their tanks, so it can’t be that bad. It leaves a residue in the mixing bin, sure, but the corals seem to love it like TM. I save the cost of a nice coral frag with every box I buy. Not looking back.

I noticed coraline explode in growth after I switched away from Tropic Marin. I switched to Red Sea blue bucket. I always loved how quick and clean Tropic Marin mixed... but the results from switching is surprising. I really didn't except to notice better growth from a cheaper salt. Makes you wonder if something is lacking in their salt to make it mix so fast and clear...

I doubt ill be going back to TMP
I doubt that I will be either, I like how Reef Crystals are working in my tank

I 'm buying a few years old production of TM boo active in Middle East.
The barcode is registered in the USA . Anyone know why? Shouldn't be germany?

I Found the answer. Its a UPC barcode, not EAN one
