Tropical Vacation

I was on Facebook and asked for advice on "what do you feel is the best " reef/tropical" vacation. Clarity of water, variety of ocean life, snorkeling, beginner scuba but still fun things to do outside of water. This WI winter has me dreaming. Ideas/suggestions?

Hainan(China) , it's a very beautiful island. You can scuba diving there and many other activities. I want to go there for vacation.
