I Just disconnected functioning classic to the new apex. I can't get a blue light with ethernet. Unplugged I can get wifi but keeps disconnecting. Anyone experience this issue with the hard wire? I have High Speed Int Comcast.( I did link it to existing account)

In general hard wired should work better. Do you have a spare wire.
some odd devices don’t support both Ethernet and Wi-Fi. I have only came across some printers like that though.

Hey, Thanks for reply. I finally got her connected. Now just loading schedules back into play. Thanks.

When connecting the Apex (2016) or Apex-EL with an Ethernet cable, the logo light should never be blue. The light is only blue during the initial WiFi Setup procedure where the Apex is broadcasting its own WiFi signal named ApexSetup_### before you configure it to connect to your WiFi network.

When connected by Ethernet, that connection becomes primary, and the Apex only reverts to using WiFi if the Ethernet connection doesn’t work, like if the cable gets disconnected or the switch/router at the other end malfunctions.
